To set up your wallet on Contra, identity verification is required. This procedure is managed by our third-party provider, Persona.
Steps for Identity Verification on Contra
Step 1: Navigate to your wallet page on the Contra website.
Step 2: Click on the "Add account" option.
Step 3: Choose the country that issued your ID. Note: This should be the country that issued your ID, not the country where you currently reside.
Step 4: You will then be redirected to Persona. You'll need to provide your personal details, ID information, and payment details to set up your wallet.
After you successfully set up your wallet and verify your identity, you will return to your wallet on Contra and can start receiving payments without any commission fees.
Note: If you wish to add a bank account in a different country than your ID, select Airwallex to connect the bank account.
