A Step-by-Step Process to setting up your wallet

Here's a simple, step-by-step guide on how to set up your Contra wallet:

  1. Navigate to your wallet: Visit the Contra's wallet page.

  2. Initiate account addition: Look for the “Add an account” button and click on it. This will initiate the process of adding a new account to your wallet.

  3. Select your country: A prompt will appear asking you to select the country that issued your ID. This information is important as it helps in verifying your identity.

  4. Set up account details: The payout options available to you will vary depending on the country you select. After choosing your country, you'll be redirected to a partner website where you will need to verify your ID and set up your account details

Funds in your wallet

There are three statuses for funds in your wallet.

  • Available: These funds are in your wallet and ready to be withdrawn.

  • Pending: These funds are currently being processed by the bank, usually because your client paid via ACH or SEPA. You can expect these funds to land in your account within 3-5 business days.

  • In escrow: These funds are associated with your projects that currently have funds in escrow. Once you have submitted deliverables for this work and your client approves it, you will receive these funds in your wallet.
