Joining the Contra Labs Network means you may be considered for paid projects that match your skills and experience. Here’s what to expect after you join.
Before your first project
How project opportunities work
Once you're part of the Contra Labs Network, our team reviews upcoming paid project opportunities and looks for talent whose skills match the work.
If a project is a good fit for your experience, someone from our team will reach out through Contra DMs with more details. Because projects vary based on client needs, timing, and required expertise, there may not always be an immediate opportunity available.
Keep your profile up to date
Your Contra profile helps us understand your skills and match you with relevant projects.
To improve your chances of being considered for the best-fit opportunities, make sure your profile stays current by:
Updating your skills and areas of expertise
Adding recent work or portfolio samples
Keeping your availability accurate
Refreshing your experience as it evolves
Having an up-to-date profile helps our team connect you with projects that best align with your background.
Need to make updates?
You can update your Contra profile at any time to reflect your latest experience, skills, and availability.
After your first project
What happens after the project?
After the project, our team will synthesize all of the evaluations and create research based on our findings.
We do not provide personalized feedback after a project is complete.
When there is another opportunity that fits your skills, our team will reach out again.
How do I get paid?
You'll get paid on Contra upon completion of your task, within 7 business days. If you do not receive payment within 7 business days, please reach out to the person who hired you or our support team, hello@contra.com.
Other questions
How many projects can I do?
There is no limit to the number of projects you can complete. We are actively looking for more people to complete projects, so we will reach out to you when we have a fit for your skillset.
