Wallet bank transfers (ACH and Wire)

Written by Pipes

Receive bank transfers directly to your Contra wallet

Your Contra wallet now comes with its own US account and routing details. Share them with a client, and they can pay you by ACH or wire, with the funds landing straight in your wallet just like any other Contra payment.

Why this matters

Some clients (especially larger companies and finance teams using tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or Brex) will only pay through ACH or wire. Until now, that meant giving them your personal bank details, getting paid outside of Contra, and losing that revenue from your Contra earnings record. With dedicated wallet account details, those payments stay on Contra. Your earnings history stays consolidated, your wallet balance stays current, and you can use the funds the same way you would any other Contra income (withdraw or hire from your wallet balance).

Where to find your account details

  1. Open your wallet

  2. Click View account details

  3. Access your account name, account number, ACH routing number, account type, SWIFT/BIC code, bank name, and bank address.

  4. Copy the details and share with your client

Note, this feature is in Beta and access is limited. Reach out to hello@contra.com to request access.
