Why is my payout on hold?

At Contra, keeping our platform safe and secure for all users is a top priority. As part of our routine fraud prevention measures, some payouts may be temporarily placed on hold for review.

This does not mean there is anything wrong with your account or your work. These reviews are standard practice and help us ensure that all transactions are legitimate and in line with our platform policies.

You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your funds are available for withdrawal. We strive to complete all reviews in less than 24 hours, but some may take a bit longer. No action is needed on your end while the hold is in place.

We understand how important timely payouts are and appreciate your patience as we work to keep Contra secure.

How do I know if my payout is on hold?

If your payout is under review, you'll see a pop-up message that says:

“Hang tight, we're reviewing your account.”

This message confirms that your funds are being reviewed as part of our standard process. Once the review is complete, you’ll be notified via email.
