Overview

Contra remains committed to being the fastest and most reliable way for Independents to get paid on the internet. As the risk and cost of processing crypto payouts increase, we are introducing a small fee on crypto withdrawals. This fee helps offset the cost of currency conversion and supports the infrastructure required to maintain our USDC ledger, KYC processes, and payout systems, while also mitigating fraud risk. The fee applies only when Independents withdraw their balance using a crypto payout method.

How the crypto payout fee works

A 2% fee is applied automatically when a crypto payout is initiated. The exact amount appears in the withdrawal summary before you confirm the payout. This fee does not affect payout speed.

Fee Amount

The crypto payout fee is a flat 2% of the total payout amount.
