What are bonuses?
Bonuses are optional payments clients can send to freelancers to recognize exceptional work.
How do I receive a bonus?
After a project is completed, clients receive an email reminder and an in-app notification prompting them to leave a recommendation. At that time, they can also choose to send a bonus.
If a client sends you a bonus, the amount is added directly to your Contra wallet once processed. You’ll also receive an email notification.
Important details about bonuses
Bonuses are optional. Clients are not required to send one.
Contra does not take a commission on bonuses. You receive the full amount sent.
Payment processing fees from our third-party provider may apply.
Bonuses can only be sent for completed projects. You cannot receive bonuses for one-off invoices, digital products, or payment links.
