To keep Contra safe for everyone, all proposals and invoices are reviewed by our team. If your submissions are getting flagged or not approved, follow the steps below before submitting your next invoice or proposal.

1. Check your client’s email

When working with a new client, make sure their email matches their name. If they’re affiliated with a company, the email should ideally be linked to their company domain.

2. Check your own email and social link

Ensure your email address matches your name and add a valid social link to your profile. This helps us verify your identity during the review process.

3. Check your invoice or proposal details

Double-check that your title and description are clear, detailed, and aligned. The project rate should make sense for the scope of work. This helps us confirm that your submission reflects a real project.

Following these steps will speed up the review process and help you get approved—and paid—faster.
